Forage root crops play an important role in the livestock diet, contributing substantial amounts of fresh fodder when graing may be scarce due to dry spells in Summer and during cold Winter months. These crops are also extremely cost effective as they are realatively inexspensive to grow and will reduce the amounts of bought feed required.

Vollenda is a bulbing type, highly digestible tetraploid variety noted for its speed of growth, yield and bolting resistance.

Utilisation; June - December, 12-14 weeks after sowing.

Sow- April to June or July to Early September
